The Lebanese Education Explosion

      The Lebanese International University (LIU) is one of the Lebanese universities, it was established in April 2001, under an slogan (TOGETHER TOWARDS A BETTER FUTURE). After graduated its first Freshman class in June 2002, a vision of becoming a true national university with international presence, a new campus in Beirut was opened in 2002. With a commitment to democratize higher education and empowerment, the university since 2003 and until 2011 established six additional campuses in Nabatieh,tripoli,Mount lebanon ,Sour,and Rayak. Moreover the establish of all this campuses in Lebanon made an explosion in the Lebanese cities (the faster university spread in Lebanon), this was the first explosion, but the second explosion was the spread of LIU beyond Lebanon since 2006 has further established four campuses in Yemen, one in Mauritania and Senegal.

The mission of the Lebanese International University

     The mission of the Lebanese International University is to provide the highest possible quality of higher education, training and research, in order to meet the needs of individuals and the communities and enterprises both in Lebanon and in the whole Arab world.

Besides, the mission of the LIU is to contribute to the development of highly educated and qualified graduates who will enhance the educational, economic and cultural foundation of the nation.
